Held in 7 cities across Canada, the tournaments offer participants the opportunity to get actively involved in helping to address the causes of global poverty. For more than 10 years, the tournament’s success has been fuelled by donors, sponsors and volunteers alike, who believe that Canadians can bring about long‐term positive change in the developing world.
Thanks in part to the continuing loyalty of sponsors and players, and the selling‐out of many events, the 2010 World Partnership Golf tournaments raised over $1.4 million – an impressive result amid difficult economic circumstances. Collectively, the tournaments have raised $8 million since their start in 2000.
