Who We Are:
Dreams Take Flight is a national non-profit organization consisting of Air Canada volunteers dedicated to providing the trip-of-a-lifetime to physically, mentally or socially challenged children. The local sponsors and volunteers believe that we can make a major difference in these children’s lives by opening a window of possibilities without limitations
At Dreams Take Flight we pride ourselves in the daily contribution to individual and community wellbeing. We believe that by sharing common values we can increase the opportunity of each individual in the community. Our volunteers are a diverse group of individuals with a wide range of skills and expertise. Our goal is to make a difference in a childs life. Don’t just stand on the sideline get engaged in your community.
What we do:
By the end of this year, Dreams Take Flight will have taken over 20,000 children to the happiest place on earth – Disneyland. There, they experience the wonder of friendship and magic. Our goal is to help them forget their troubles for one incredible day. And to provide them with a lifetime of memories.
Why we do it:
We have seen that this extraordinary event has a profoundly positive effect on the children, now and in the future. It is our sincerest wish that the memories they create stay with them forever, as well as give flight to new hopes and dreams.
