Bashaw, AB to host 2013 Small Town Saturday Night
Travel Alberta and Big Valley Jamboree are pleased to announce that the town of Bashaw, Alberta has emerged as the grand-prize winner of Small Town Saturday Night 2013. The community shot to the top of the leaderboard in the contest’s second year, garnering over 30 per cent of the 55,000 online votes cast, earning them the privilege of hosting the grand-prize concert on April 27, 2013 at the Bashaw Arena. The community will also receive a $5,000 donation to the Bashaw Adult Learning Council for the Bashaw School Arts Infusion Program and Bashaw Creative Community Committee, courtesy of Travel Alberta.
