My Point of View
Thanks to the marvels of modern technology, I’m able to co-host the 790 CFCW Morning Show from almost anyplace I travel. But my favourite alternate broadcast site (our main studio is located in West Edmonton Mall) is from my vacation home in Osoyoos, BC.
The Okanagan Valley is famous for it’s wineries, fruit orchards, and hot, sunny weather.
I thought you might enjoy seeing a picture of what I look at every morning as the sun rises behind my home, bathing Snowy Mountain in a rosy glow.
Osoyoos boasts the warmest lake in Canada, and during the hot summer months, when temperatures soar into the high 30’s, the population of this otherwise sleepy little community swells to 3 times its normal size.
I went yesterday and picked up a load of cherry wood for my outdoor pizza oven. Tonight’s menu? Thin-crust wood-fired pizza topped with roasted garlic, goat cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, and fresh basil, then drizzled with a little lemon olive oil and a sprinkle of sea salt. Mmmm…
Life is what you make it. That’s my point of view.
